USFS GMUG Assessment II - Broad Scale Aquatic, Riparian, and Wetland Ecological Assessments
Description:
This project is a regional approach to develop and coordinate
species conservation and ecological sustainability in the Rocky
Mountain Region of the U.S. Forest Service. An ecological driver
concept was developed that looks at wetland and riparian communities,
sediment dynamics, fishery resources, and aquatic production
at different scales to evaluate watershed sensitivity and importance.
Anthropogenic influences are also addressed by this team of
scientists and resource specialists from the U.S. Forest Service,
the University of Wyoming and Colorado State University. Dates:
